Welcome to Clogzoom!

We've all been missing physical stepping workshops so much, we thought we'd have a go at re-creating the atmosphere, and the learning opportunities, on zoom!

There are some wonderful classes to choose from:

Toby Bennett - Toby's Improver's Dotted Hornpipe (Improver level)
Jon Davison - Pat Tracey's B Routine (Intermediate level)
Melanie Barber - Sam Sherry's Original Waltz ((Intermediate to Advanced level)
Matt Norman - Dartmoor Stepping (Mixed level)

To find out more about the dances and tutors, visit the Classes & Tutors page.

In addition, we're delighted to have Simon Brock, Clog Maker, giving talks and being available for consultations over the weekend! To find out more about Simon, click here or visit his website!

Clogzoom is a ticketed event, so that we are able to pay our tutors for the enormous amount of work and talent that will go into making a wonderful experience. Places cost £20, and are limited, so be sure to book early! To find out more, and to book your place, click here.

How does it all work?

When you book, you will receive the zoom link to join the classes over the weekend, as well as all the info you need, in addition to resources such as dance notes and videos for your chosen class which will be sent out nearer the time.

The weekend schedule will consist of morning and afternoon session on Saturday between 9.45am and 4.30pm, with plenty of tea breaks (you'll have to provide your own cake but I'll include a recipe or two with the registration info!), and a morning session followed by workshop showcases on Sunday between 10.15am and 2pm. Each day, we will be led in a warm-up by the brilliant Simon Harmer! In addition, there will be a social zoom room open on Saturday night for tunes, a bit of informal dancing, and any displays people wish to do!

Class sizes are limited, and participants will be able to interact with tutors. If you are unfamiliar with zoom, you're welcome to contact us ahead of the event and arrange a test to familiarise yourself with zoom - we think it works really well for teaching step dance as each participant has the perfect view of the tutor's feet!

If you have any questions, please get in touch.

We're really looking forward to a wonderful weekend - see you there!
